Cadillac Championship Announces Enhanced Security Measures and additional restrictions at and around Trump National Doral

Enhanced security measures and additional restrictions will be in place at Trump National Doral due to President Donald J. Trump’s planned visit to the 2026 Cadillac Championship on Sunday, May 3.

Gates will open at 7 a.m. Spectators should make every effort to restrict personal items to a minimum.

Spectators are strongly encouraged to arrive as early as possible and should anticipate extra travel time as they plan their day.

In addition to TSA-style security screening at the Main Entry and Downtown Doral Entry, spectators will be subjected to TSA-style screening checkpoints around the clubhouse, adjacent grandstands and surrounding areas. If spectators leave these secure areas, they will need to be screened again prior to re-entering that area. Spectators should also anticipate temporary delays when moving through publicly accessible areas on the property. Certain areas may briefly become restricted or paused before, during, or after the event to support security operations.

The PGA TOUR’s prohibited items list can be reviewed HERE. There may be additional restricted or prohibited items for the weekend due to enhanced security measures, please see this link HERE for a full list.
