Tommy Fleetwood, Shane Lowry, Xander Schauffele and Justin Thomas set to tee it up in Miami
The inaugural Cadillac Championship arrives at Trump National Doral’s Blue Monster, April 29-May 3
MIAMI, Florida – Tournament officials announced today that four of the PGA TOUR’s biggest names will be in the field for the inaugural Cadillac Championship, with reigning FedExCup Champion Tommy Fleetwood, three-time TOUR winner Shane Lowry, 10-time TOUR winner Xander Schauffele and 2017 FedExCup Champion Justin Thomas officially committing to the field. The PGA TOUR returns to Trump National Doral’s iconic Blue Monster from April 29 through May 3.
As the fifth Signature Event during the 2026 season, the Cadillac Championship is made up of the top performers from the previous and current season, allowing TOUR members several different avenues to play their way into one of the TOUR’s biggest events.
Fleetwood earned his first career TOUR victory at the season-ending TOUR Championship at East Lake Golf Club, where he defeated Patrick Cantlay and Russell Henley to capture the FedExCup. The Englishman has made one prior appearance at Trump National Doral’s Blue Monster in 2015. In his four starts on TOUR this season, Fleetwood owns three top-10 finishes (T4/AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am, T7/The Genesis Invitational, T8/THE PLAYERS Championship).
Lowry, a three-time TOUR winner – including the 2019 Open Championship – has made two previous professional appearances at the iconic Blue Monster in 2015 and 2016. This season, the Irishman had made five starts, highlighted by two top-10 finishes at the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am (T8) and Cognizant Classic in The Palm Beaches (T2).
Set to make his first professional appearance at the famed Blue Monster, Schauffele has earned three top-10 finishes in seven starts this season, including two in his last two starts at THE PLAYERS Championship (3rd) and Valspar Championship (T4). The 10-time PGA TOUR winner is rounding into form ahead of the Cadillac Championship and back inside the top five in the world rankings.
Sixteen-time PGA TOUR winner and the 2017 FedExCup Champion, Thomas will return to the Blue Monster where he made one prior start in 2016 (T35). The 32-year-old continues to build momentum with each start as he continues to recover from back surgery in November. His T8 finish at THE PLAYERS Championship marked his strongest outing in three starts this season.
The 2026 Cadillac Championship will mark the 56th playing of a PGA TOUR event at the Blue Monster having previously hosted the TOUR consecutively from 1962 to 2016. The legacy venue has seen 14 World Golf Hall of Famers win 24 titles, including 82-time PGA TOUR winner Tiger Woods, who has four victories at the renowned venue (2005, 2006, 2007, 2013).
