What is Birdies for Charity?
Birdies for Charity is a fundraising platform available to all nonprofits that are located or provide services in South Florida. Charitable organizations are encouraged to invite their supporters to contribute that will allow them to guess the number of birdies that will be made during the competitive rounds of the 2026 Cadillac Championship (April 30-May 3, 2026). An individual who guesses exact or closest to the total number of birdies will win a grand prize of $10,000.
The Cadillac Championship provides a Birdies for Charity bonus pool of $40,000, offering participating charities the opportunity to receive bonus dollars beyond what they fundraise. Funds awarded from the bonus pool will be based on the percentage an individual nonprofit raises to the total donations for all participants.
Nonprofit Information
Each participating organization must be a 501(c)(3) designated nonprofit that is located or provides services in South Florida. Organizations must register on an annual basis and be approved by PGA TOUR Charities to be eligible to participate in the program.
Key dates to know:
• Charity registration opens February 17, 2026
• Donor participation begins February 25, 2026
• Charity registration closes April 10, 2026
• Participating nonprofits record and submit all donations to the Cadillac Championship by 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 29, 2026
Participating in Birdies for Charity means your organization receive 100% of donations received. All online donations will be collected by PGA TOUR Charities and then distributed to the respective organization at the end of the campaign. Any administrative fees associated with paying by credit card will be covered by PGA TOUR Charities. Donors wishing to donate via cash, check or donor advised funds will make their donations directly to the charity of their choice and then charities will upload to the online tracking system. Donor Resources
Every dollar pledged goes directly to the charity of the donor’s choice. Thanks to the Cadillac Championship, there’s even more of a reason to get involved: a $40,000 bonus pool that will be allocated to fundraising organizations based on their level of participation.
The individual who guesses the exact number or comes closest to guessing the number of birdies made during the 2026 Cadillac Championship will walk away with a $10,000 grand prize. Recipients can choose to keep the grand prize or donate it back to their favorite charity. See official rules for more details.
